Supporting The Stanley Family
Published on Jan 15, 2018 16:48

As I'm sure many of you are aware, a local family suffered a devastating fire on January 8th in Victoria Harbour.   Four of the family members were seriously injured in the fire. Phyllis Stanley started a local charity called Warm and Cosy to supply winter clothing for children in need.  She made a generous contribution to the Canadian Martyrs community that has allowed us to support students with winter gear.  The St. Theresa's Catholic Secondary School community is holding on fundraiser on Wednesday, January 17, inviting everyone to wear blue, the colour of healing, and make a donation that will go towards the family.

The Canadian Martyrs community will be supporting this fundraiser and invite our students to wear blue on Wednesday and make a donation of a loonie or toonie to help support the Stanley family.

Please see flyer for more information, and thank you for your support.
