Supporting Humboldt - Jersey Day - April 12

Dear Canadian Martyrs Families,
The tragic events of the past weekend in Humboldt, Saskatchewan have certainly struck a cord deep into communities across the nation; it could just as easily have been our own town.
We said a beautiful prayer yesterday over the announcements and our flag will fly at half mast until Friday.
One of the events that has had widespread coverage on social media is a jersey day on Thursday, April 12th. This is a very visible way that people are supporting the players, families and friends of the Humboldt community. The Canadian Martyrs Catholic School community will be supporting this event and inviting students to wear their favourite jersey or to wear green - the colour of the Humboldt Broncos team.
We will continue to keep the Humboldt community in our prayers.
