Terry Fox - September 27th

Today we had our Terry Fox kick-off assembly. We are hoping that today's educational piece will sparks some healthy conversations about Terry Fox and cancer.
We here at Canadian Martyrs have set a modest goal of raising on average $2.00 per student. Last year we raised over $420 and this year we hope to exceed our goal set at $500.
Each student will be given a large sticker to be placed on their shirt that says “TERRY RAN FOR ME, I AM RUNNING FOR” Please have a discussion with your child who he/she will be running for, as the teachers will print the names of those individuals on the student’s sticker. The students will wear these stickers during our school run. This year's walk/run will begin at 9:30 am on Thursday, September27th in our school yard and continue through the community. Come join us if you can.
