School Day-Pizza/Milk Orders
Published on Jan 10, 2019 11:38

Greetings

Below is a letter originally sent on December 3, 2018 and emailed indicating Canadian Martyrs, like all schools within the SMCDSB, will be implementing the use of School Day by the end of the school year.  Canadian Martyrs will be using School Day starting in February 2019.  We are asking all families to register no later than January 21st in order to place your food orders (pizza, milk and subs) for February.  Once you have registered, you will receive further correspondence in School Day for placing food orders, which will by due by January 30th.  With the implementation of School Day, we will no longer be able to accept cash payments in the main office.  If you have misplaced the original correspondence with your registration information, or if you need help registering, please contact Mrs. Chamberlain in the main office (705 549-1877).

Dear Parent/Guardian

Canadian Martyrs Catholic School is pleased to announce that we will be using School-Day, an online portal that lets us instantly share school news and events with parents.  With School-Day, you will be able to receive school news and announcements, complete permission forms, and pay for any school service, product or event, all online. In addition, the Principal will be able to set up Parent Teacher conferences in School-Day. This will allow you to schedule interviews online with your child’s teacher and view the schedules for multiple
children.

We are sure that you will find School-Day easy to use, and we appreciate your help in improving our communications and significantly reducing the amount of paper our school consumes. When you select the “I agree” button in School-Day you are signing documents electronically. You agree your electronic signature is the legal equivalent of your handwritten signature. Please note that School-Day does not store any credit card information. All information is processed through our debit and credit card processor.

To participate in this exciting initiative, please take a moment to register by following the steps outlined in the information that will be sent home with your son/daughter today. If you require assistance, please contact the School-Day Support Team. You can submit a ticket from within the School-Day system, email [email protected] or call 1.855.253.1731 for 24/7 bilingual assistance. If you have questions about how to use School-Day, please search the articles found in the School-Day Support Centre and Knowledge base at http://support.school-day.com/en/home.

Thank you for you assistance with the implementation of School Day.
